Richard Lewis, som också är patient hos psykologen, håller med, och de börjar göra upp planer för hur de ska avsluta sin relation med honom. Larry har sålt sitt projekt med Julia Louis-Dreyfus till ABC, och han går med på att närvara vid ett par miniserievisningar på tv-bolaget. ABCs verkställande direktör Lane Michaels lilla dotter är där och får Larry att klippa av håret på en av hennes älskade och dyrbara dockor. Hon får ett utbrott när hon får reda på att håret inte kommer att växa ut igen. För att rädda situationen stjäl Larry och Jeff huvudet från en av Jeffs dotters dockor, vilket gör Jeffs frånskilda fru Susie fly förbannad. Under tiden måste Larry även brottas med en toalettdörr som inte går att stänga och sina naturbehov.
