Agnieszka is investigating a girl’s death in Opole: all evidence points to ritual murder. At the time, Piotr was teaching religious studies there.

Agnieszka comes across a similar murder from months prior. Meanwhile, Ewa becomes an easy target for Piotr, who still watches her every move.

Exhausted Agnieszka has a theory about the perpetrator of the crimes and is convinced that he has already begun his search for the next victim.

While she starts a dramatic search for clues that could help her find Jola, Agnieszka meets a priest and finds out about her own mother’s death.

Wolnicki picks up a hitchhiker, who recognises him from the trial.

When the body of a young girl is found, Polkowska and Mrówiec check if any traces point to Wolnicki.

Agnieszka is sure that Klaudia is another victim of Wolnicki and insists that he be questioned again.

Lila is becoming suspicious. However, Piotr assures her that the only thing he wants is to start a new life with her.

Monika becomes suspicious of Lila. Fearing for the safety of the children, she decides to fire her.

Ewelina decides to interrogate Polska. Lila asks Wolnicki about what really happened back then.
